Who Makes Aquarius Curious?

Compatibility with other Star Signs depends on much more than similarities. Aquarius, the philosopher of the Zodiac, belongs to the element air, which is that of thought and theory. So do Gemini and Libra, but that doesn’t necessarily mean Aquarius is particularly compatible with them – they need to agree on common goals.

Nor for that matter is Aquarius always incompatible with, say, the earth signs Taurus, Virgo, and Capricorn, although they are quite different. Actually, differences are important in a relationship. If there are few of them, both will be bored with one another.

That’s the most evident when the astrological qualities – cardinal, fixed, and mutable – are compared. Each Zodiac sign has one of those qualities. Aquarius is fixed, which means being uneager or slow to change, sort of conservative in a fashion. In the case of Aquarius: original, but still traditional. That doesn’t blend well with other fixed signs in a relationship. They are Taurus, Leo, and Scorpio. None of them is that compatible with Aquarius, since they will insist on their respective ways, quite unwilling to compromise. Both want the other to conform.

Aquarius is more compatible with the mutable signs, which are the followers of the Zodiac. They are Gemini, Virgo, Sagittarius, and Pisces. They are much more apt to adapt. Maybe too much for Aquarius to be pleased at length. They like change so much, they don’t stop doing it. Sometimes it’s to Aquarius’ liking, and sometimes not.

With the cardinal signs, demanding to lead, things can get complicated with Aquarius if the two don’t agree on most things from the start. If not, the two may sooner or later find that they are incompatible. The cardinal signs are Aries, Cancer, Libra, and Capricorn.

But nothing is written in stone. A relationship is complex. There is no guarantee as to what will work and what will not, especially at length. All the personality traits of each Zodiac sign have to be considered when examining their compatibility in astrology.

 

Aquarius Compatibility in General

Generally speaking, Aquarius the philosopher needs to have intellectual exchange with the partner. Aquarius needs mutual pondering of the wonderful complexity of life and the world in which we find ourselves. To Aquarius, that’s part of the charm of having a significant other – to explore significant questions together.

Affection and caresses are not enough for Aquarius. There has to be a discovery of one another, and it has to be interesting. When there are no more questions to find the answers for, the love of Aquarius tends to dissolve.
